About Us
Our roots in the family business were established in 1926 when our founder Petros D. Kalkantzakos opened the first shop in Athinas street in the heart of Athens.
It was the first gun shop in the country which also operated a repair shop, where 12 specialized gunsmiths worked.
We were one of the first Hellenic businesses in the firearms industry that were active in the following areas:
- distribution of explosives for public works
- manufacturing of lead bird shot for shotguns
- loading of hunting shells using automated machines
- sales of pistols and revolvers
At this point the company is managed by the 3rd and 4th family generation.
With
our long history and the knowledge handed down by our great
grandfathers the family business of Kalkantzakos can assure you the best
service, quality, and support in all aspects of our business.
PROSYSTEM, a company by Petros A. Kalkantzakos represents a large number of manufacturers in Greece like CESKA ZBROJOVKA A.S. (CZ), one of the world leaders in firearms manufacturing and spare parts.
Mr. Kalkantzakos has constantly promoted and continues to support sports shooting, being president of ATHLOS (ΑΘΛΟΣ) shooting club upto 1993 (a club with more than 5.000 registered members) and being involved in the Hellenic Shooting Federation to this day.
By keeping up with our family traditions we always try to provide the best quality of service along with the large variety of products that we offer.
